Andrea Holdbrook (“Coach A”) is beginning her 9th season as a volleyball and softball coach for the Lady Cougars. Since her graduation from Baylor University in 2008, she immersed herself in coaching high school athletics. Her experience includes head-coaching Varsity Softball for the last 7 years and assisting for the first 2 years at Reicher. Coach A has maintained a competitive program that includes six State Tournament appearances, two State Championships in 2010 and 2014 and a record of 151 wins and 42 losses. She also coaches Volleyball for the Lady Cougars and has taken them to the Regional Finals twice in the last 7 years. For Reicher, she also serves as the Curriculum Coordinator and teaches English and Environmental Systems. Her time as a college student was spent playing softball for Baylor Club while she transitioned into the coaching field as an assistant for the Bandits Gold Softball Organization out of the Metroplex area. Coach A is married to Trey Holdbrook. For fun she enjoys playing golf, traveling, shopping, listening to the Backstreet Boys, binge watching Netflix and laying out by the pool.
