Michael Witherspon (Class of ’06) is entering his 1st year as the head Cross Country coach. He has been blessed to be involved with the St. Louis and Reicher communities for most of my life. He attended St. Louis School, kindergarten through eighth grade. He then went on to Reicher Catholic High School and graduated in 2006. Coach Witherspoon was a member of the 2004 State Championship football team and 2005 State Championship track and field team. He attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a Political Science and History degree in 2010. Coach Witherspoon was presented with the opportunity in 2013 to return to Reicher and teach World History, World Geography, and coach various sports. He currently is also an assistant football, track and field coach and is excited to take on the responsibility of head cross country coach this year. He has experienced great success as a coach in Reicher’s Athletic Department. As an assistant coach he has been part of several football playoff appearances and state track and field appearances. He has gained valuable coaching and mentor experience. Coach Witherspoon loves our tight-knit community and couldn’t ask for a better place to work that Reicher Catholic High School.
