Theology Department

Theology articulates our knowledge and understanding of God. Through the history, traditions, and knowledge of the Roman Catholic Church, the Reicher community is guided toward experiences of God.

A balanced theological perspective includes the elements of prayer, service, celebration, and learning. Each day we gather as a family to hear the gospel, reflect upon its meaning, and offer petitions of prayer; once a week we celebrate the Eucharist. Service of those in need enables us to experience God in the poor and needy.

A community must celebrate its successes and mourn its losses. We immerse ourselves into the paschal mystery, recalling that through our sufferings and deaths we rise to a new life of hope.

Our Theology classes encourage the students to think deeply and express this knowledge through word and action. Reicher forms the student in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ.

Our task is to be the hands, feet, and voice of Jesus in our modern-day world. Theology strives to prepare the student for this noble task.
