Theater Arts is a performance-based class designed to introduce students to various aspects of theater. Students will develop acing skills through character development and analysis, monologue presentations, duet acting and performance in non-musical and musical plays.

The second semester will be devoted to performing and producing a Broadway-based musical. The technical aspects of theater will be introduced through script writing and analysis, set design and construction, and crew detail through preparation and application in a live performance setting.

The course also includes study of the historic evolution of the theater from the Renaissance era to present day.
