| This course is designed to increase the overall physical fitness of students by
incorporating instruction and exercise in weight training, running, aerobics, and
acquisition of life sports skills. Both individual and team sports will be taught as well
as instruction in activities designed for achieving life-long fitness. |

This course is designed to enhance the physical and mental well-being of its students.
This course will teach the fundamentals for weight lifting and working out in order to
promote and improve fitness of the entire body, with special emphasis on the
muscular and respiratory systems. Furthermore, this class will incorporate both
aerobic and anaerobic activities. Testing is performed three times per year to
determine progress. All athletes are required to attend athletic class and all practice
sessions.
*With prior approval and required documentation students are able to earn Physical
Education credit necessary for graduation through participation in certain private or
commercially-sponsored activity programs. |
